Description
Solid carbide drill bits are the good choice due to stability, hole quality and cost efficiency. It can achieve IT8 tolerances while drilling at ideal penetration rate. The geometry can be flexibly designed specific to applications. Featured products in this catagory of Toolind include A Drill for carbon fiber composites, to eliminate delamination and splintering. Compared to carbide drill bits, cobalt HSS drill bits drill at much slower speed, but are good choice for some applications, such as inclined entry drilling and cross hole drilling, where carbide tools are easy to break. It’s ideal choice for soft materials like plastic and wood. With correct geometry, machining parameters and good coating, both solid carbide drill bits and cobalt HSS drill bits last very long without downtime. Re-grinding can be done by supplier or at shop easily. These make the use cost low.
