Graphite Machining

CVD diamond-coated tools are the perfect choice for graphite machining, with a lifespan of up to 50 times that of conventional tungsten carbide tools. Moreover, due to the low friction coefficient, CVD diamond-coated cutting tools can turn at a much higher RPM, enabling precise machining of thin-walled and deep-ribbed areas of graphite electrodes. The end mills are designed with unequal helix angles to eliminate cutting vibrance and improve machining quality.
